Brandon's Wedding and Jenny Lynn

A week after we returned from the PI's, we were on another plane to SLC to support Brandon and Marcy's wedding. We are so excited for them. The weather was perfect and the flowers were beautiful. Besides the obvious perks of the trip, we were blessed to have met a Filipina missionary serving on Temple Sqaure named Jenny Lynn. She is from Palawan and my parents helped her to get everything in order to serve a mission. She is an absolute doll. While in Palawan, we were able to meet some of her family and they sent us home with a package for her. We were determined to find her. After searching for a few minutes, we found sweet Jenny Lynn and delivered the package. She was overwhelmed....from the package to just finding out who we were...she loves President M. and Sister LeSueur very much! It was a sweet experience. We learned from her companion that our package was the first correspondence she'd received from home since she left in December. The poverty over there is just something else....before Jenny Lynn came to the States, she'd never used eating utensils or slept in a bed. She is remarkable!
