A Not So Laborious Labor Day

On a last minute whim, Brian convinced me to take the first week of September off from work. We had originally planned to spend Labor Day Weekend with my family at the Cardon Ranch to celebrate birthdays (mine and John's) and to spend some time relaxin'. We followed through with that plan (and had a great time, by the way), but what we hadn't planned was the week long trip afterwards. Brian decided that from Heber we could drive on up to Utah to do some visiting and site seeing. We spent some time in Provo with cousins Josh/Melissa and Dustin and then headed up to spend some time with Aunt Lisa and the kids. We also visited Temple Square. On our way back to AZ, we stopped at Brcye Canyon for some hiking and some camping. We had a great time and decided that we really, really like each other...and mostly, that we need to get away more often! We were in awe of the scenery and felt grateful to live in such a wonderful place.
