A Much Prolonged Update....With A Challenge

So, remember how a couple of posts ago I mentioned something along the lines of our lives slowing down once we got to St. David? Well, this doesn't happen very often (hehehe), but I was wrong! We've been nothing but busy since we've arrived but we're still having the time of our lives.

Since we've arrived, we've been busy trying to keep all of mom and dad's things in order, not to mention, ourselves. We've enjoyed getting to see familiar faces, attending the high school games, the cooler weather, and the extra space. So far, the commute hasn't been too bad. It's not our favorite, of course, but it is really fun when we get to do it together.

Mom and Dad have a little exercise room set up and we have enjoyed using it quite often. We figured we might as well use it.

That's our lives in a nutshell....running, running, and..um...more running. We can't complain. Life is so good to us. We just have to remind ourselves to stop and smell the roses along the way. We tend to have the personalities of work-a-holics. Conference was a nice breather for us both and we are very much looking forward to reviewing what we've learned and putting it to good use in our lives. Brian and I would like to issue you a challenge....since we are doing it ourselves...pick a few principles (no more than three) that you gleaned from conference and try to implement them in your lives over the next 6 months. Set specific, measurable goals and guidelines, and when next conference rolls around, see if you can notice a change. Ask yourself, "How has my life improved/changed since last conference?" We are looking forward to this challenge and hope to hear about your successes in six months!
